The proposal took place at one of Singapore’s most romantic dining venues. A garden dome surrounded by trees and lights.
Fadhlan was determined to surprise Aqila, since she already got the hint that Fadhlan’s going to propose. So we collaborate with him and created a simple plot to trick Aqila (just a little bit though 🙂).
At the venue, we’ve asked the host to tell Aqila that there’s no reservation under Fadhlan, hence making her think that the proposal might not take place there. However, there’s a table outdoor available, and the host asked Fadhlan & Aqila to have a look first.
Already thinking that there’s no nice spot available, Aqila then surprised with a Garden Dome written with ‘Welcome, Fadhlan & Aqila‘.
They both then sat down and took some pictures together. But the surprise didn’t stop there.
After a few minutes they sat down, the host then brought a plate covered with the menu on top.
Once Aqila picked up the menu, it then revealed a ‘will you marry me‘ signage written on the plate. Then and there Fadhlan took out the ring and propose to Aqila.
Guess what?! Aqila said yes and they both enjoyed the dining experience together until later that night.
