Being Indonesia’s proposal organizer for the past 2 years, we’ve managed to come across a few restaurants that are proposal worthy. From an outdoor rooftop ones, all the way to a romantic fine dining indoor venue. So here, we’d like to share some of them for future proposers out there who prefer a simple over dining proposal!
The Edge, Kemang Icon ($$) 
In booking one of the booths, they apply a fairly low minimum charge, around IDR 500,000++ per booth. Add some flare by string lights, flower arrangement, and so on. The outdoor atmosphere is a great addition to the romantic night you’ll be planning for.
Sky Garden Cafe, Rasuna Icon Hotel ($$)
Eye-ing on that gazebo? If you’re looking for an outdoor romantic Bali vibe, then we’re recommending Sky Garden! Aside from the venue’s traffic that mainly quite slow, thus you will get the private ambience there. They only have a minimum charge of IDR 350,000++ for the whole gazebo too! Would you say it’s a good deal?
Sky Pool Bar, Kempinski Hotel ($$$)
If you’re after a more high-end romantic setting, check out this Sky Pool Bar at Kempinski Hotel, Jakarta. They specifically provide a corner for this private dining experience. They provide a 4-course set menu at IDR 1,800,000++ per couple, but do charge additional fees if you’d like to bring additional decoration.
VIEW Restaurant & Bar, Fairmont ($$$)
This place put no minimum charge and quite flexible in regards to table decoration. Such a gorgeous view from this restaurant isn’t it? Popping the question would be easy if accompanied and supported by such amazing atmosphere.
Emilie French Restaurant, Senopati ($$$)
For this French restaurant, they’re pretty flexible as well in regards to table decor. They offer ala carte menu, with their private setting restaurant. So you can always choose a corner to profess your once in a lifetime question.
